1. Acceptance

By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

2. Service Description

CoA Logs is a free, non-commercial combat-log analysis tool for World of Warcraft version 3.3.5. Users may upload combat logs to analyze encounters, rankings, and parses. The site is independently operated as a community hobby project — see Section 5 below for the full trademark and affiliation disclaimer.

3. User-Submitted Content

By uploading content to CoA Logs — including but not limited to combat logs (WoWCombatLog.txt) and armory data submitted via the EpogArmory addon's SavedVariables (gear, enchants, talents, character name, server, guild, and related metadata) — you grant us a non-exclusive license to store, display, and analyze the data. Uploaded content becomes publicly visible at URLs such as /log/<id>, /armory/<name>, and on rankings / progression / guild pages. Do not upload content that contains personal information of other players beyond what the game client records.

Both upload paths (POST /api/logs and POST /api/armory/upload) share a combined rate limit (currently 3 successful uploads per IP per hour). Discord-authenticated administrators may have this limit lifted. Attempting to circumvent the limit, falsify uploads, or upload mass-automated / synthetic data is a breach of Section 4.

4. Acceptable Use

Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or exploit vulnerabilities in the service. Do not upload malicious, falsified, or mass-automated content.

5. Site Code, Design, and Intellectual Property

All original code, page layouts, visual design, copy, icons, and other site assets — including but not limited to the JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and server-side logic served from epoglogs.com — are copyright © 2026 Defcon, all rights reserved. Game data (item names, spell icons, boss names, etc.) is the property of Blizzard Entertainment as covered in Section 6.

You may view the site source in your browser for personal use, debugging, or interoperability. You may not, without prior written permission:

• Copy, redistribute, or rehost any portion of the site code, layout, or design;
• Create a competing or derivative service that reproduces the site's user interface, feature set, or visual presentation;
• Use CoA Logs source, design choices, or implementation details as a basis for another public combat-log analysis tool;
• Use the site, its data, or its responses to train, fine-tune, or evaluate machine learning models, including large language models.

6. Scraping, Mirroring, and API Use

Public API endpoints (/api/*) exist to serve the official CoA Logs frontend. They are not a public data API. You may not:

• Programmatically scrape, mirror, or bulk-download logs, parses, rankings, guild data, player profiles, or any other content;
• Republish data sourced from CoA Logs on another website, app, or service without prior written permission and clear attribution;
• Circumvent rate limits, authentication, access controls, or robots/crawler directives;
• Use automated tools (bots, crawlers, headless browsers) to access the site at a rate that exceeds normal human browsing.

Reasonable, attributed use of small amounts of data for personal/community discussion (Discord screenshots, sharing log links, etc.) is welcome and expected.

7. Trademarks & Independence

"World of Warcraft" and related names, logos, and game content are trademarks and copyrights of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. References to "Project Epoch", "Project Ascension", or any other server are descriptive only. This site is an independent fan-made hobby project — not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Blizzard Entertainment, Project Epoch, Project Ascension, or any private server, host, or operator. All third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Data accuracy depends on user-submitted logs and cannot be guaranteed.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

10. Enforcement & Termination

We may rate-limit, block, or terminate access for any user, IP address, or automated client we believe to be in breach of these terms, with or without notice. Persistent or large-scale violations of Sections 5 or 6 may also be addressed through DMCA takedown requests or legal action.

11. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
